AbilityNet regularly hold a range of courses and events about assistive technology.
We run an accreditation scheme which enables you to gain qualifications for the work that you currently do in the field of accessibility/technology whilst working in your existing field of work.
Our one day courses are aimed at professionals in education, personnel, occupational health, equal opportunities and staff welfare. Our courses are run in various venues in the UK throughout the year. We are also able to design bespoke courses for your organisation.
Our online courses offer over 30 courses covering all aspects of training in disability and technology. The courses range from healthy computing to web accessibility, from training in screen readers to future technologies.
Our events range from attending exhibitions where you are welcome to visit us to discuss any of your needs, to presentations and seminars where you can hear us speaking about the latest development in assistive technology.
We also run Parents Information days throughout the year helping you to support your child in the use of assistive technology.
